Acres, as well as the months you can expect to see each vegetable
appearing on the harvest table. For many of us, eating "in season" will

growing season and our anticipation is richly rewarded by the unparalleled

lettuce, hot peppers, onions, basil, beans, beets, broccoli, cabbage, salad
greens, swiss chard, garlic, ground cherry, tomatillo, eggplant and
herbs.
SEPTEMBER - celeriac, collards, spinach, yellow potatoes, tomatoes, arugula,
basil, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, kale, onions, salad greens, chard, leeks and
okra.
OCTOBER - leeks, tat soi, winter squash, garlic, pumpkin, beets, kale,
broccoli, arugula, cabbage, carrots, collards, onions, salad greens, brussel
